The South Australian Italian Golf Club Inc. was established in September 1989 by a few very keen and dedicated golfers with a view to promote and encourage the sport of golf particularly amongst the Italian community in South Australia.
Following a game of golf at Medway Golf Club in 1972, Mr. Tony Meden put his idea of forming an Italian Association of Golfers to a small group of Italian businessmen who were most enthusiastic with his idea.
